Pronounce This Child's Name How would you pronounce this child's name: "Le-a" Leah?? NO Lee - A?? NOPE Lay - a?? NO Lei?? Guess Again. This child attends a school in Detroit, MI.. Her mother is irate because everyone is getting her name wrong. It's pronounced "Ledasha", When the Mother was asked about the pronunciation of the name, she said, "the dash don't be silent." SO, if you see something come across your desk like this please remember to pronounce the dash. If they axe you why, tell them the dash don't be silent.

Mike - typical white guy. The USA does have universal healthcare, but you have to pay for it. D'oh. Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. God doesn't believe in atheists, therefore they don't exist.

Pretty obviously, the mother is the common-law wife (and first cousin of) the guy who just wrote "Well its called reining in Americans." right here in the Back Room.

Reminds me of the gems in Freakonomics: Lemonjello and his brother Orangejello, and of course Shi-thead. I also know of a moron from Missouri who named her kid Flacenta. When asked why, she said "well, twas the first thang I herd the doctor say". Didn't look it up, didn't even get it right. I don't agree with Eugenics, but I sure can see the argument. :sigh:

I knew a family who named their kid Tucker. He's a teenager now, he's not very tall, but he fights well.
