Hang on, it only appears to tell the time. That's no geek's watch.

It tells the time by 2000ft under water. This qualifies it as cool. I am unsure about how they tested that: Even if they tied it to a 2000ft long rope, probably noone was sent there to check if the watch still worked.

And you made a good choice. However, I had a PM from Switzerland once who said that in his home country they all wear: Swatches[^] Leave it to him to ruin the fun. Really nice guy though. One of the few bosses I would not mind working for again.

It should at least tell the time 2000' underwater in six timezones. And show the date. And the temperature. And the phase of the Moon. And have some wire in it for garotting underwater assailants. And their image of Mickey isn't very life-like, either.

              It's a watch, not a iWatch.

Probably there are tons of facilities or labs which have an equipment capable to simulate the water pressure in that debt.

No, it tells time under a static pressure of 2000ft of water. That's not quite the same, they're only equivalent if there's zero movement between the watch and the water. Just for normal surface swimming you need 50m water resistance, normal diving and water sports need 100m; high dives/scuba need 200m although for the latter you should probably get one that's passed ISO certification as a divers watch. 2000'/600m would qualify it for deeper diving of some sort, but google isn't turning up an actual limit. As for testing they probably used a shallow tank and then used high pressure air to get the total pressure up to the target level.
