What is this fashion about vote 5 for one line post?

As you probably noticed English is not my native language :) although I tried to learn words everyday. When I meant “question” I didn’t mean question = ask else question = complain I can see that this is not the properly word to be used and I’ll work on a new one :).

I though the votes for post were to give importance to the post so when you see the page you can see clearly if the post has a merit or not. I see that it is out of control and even the most of the stupid post has a 5 score and looks red :) with 5 or 6 votes. This is a classic example of greedy people, because it affects the “MVP” score now everyone is voting for everyone…. Can’t you see it that you will have to wait another year to see if you will be a MVP? :) And in all this time you are screwing the posts? I really don’t have time to read every post made, so usually I go for the red ones and closer to them…. If that was the original idea then it doesn’t work anymore. :(

Ironically I think actually you are correct in your use of the word "question" as I saw it quoted.

Context is important. Short colloquialisms can carry a lot of meaning, but obscure the meaning for outsiders.

says very much. Contrary to the sayers belief, it says more about the sayer than the information contained in that specific sequence of 14 words. When anyone utters those 14 words, I usually reply with only 2 words. Kyle knows which two and in what order they come. X|

Voting isn't wrist-friendly.
