Oh, more completely predictable lefty propaganda, how funny. Thats alomst as funny as Rosie's new show. Why are you lefty types so full of hate?
Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

Caught that commie hiding under your bed yet, Stan?
Your silly assed, irrelevant opinion has been duly noted. Now take it elsewhere!

was christianity still "christianity" when the jesuits killed millions? How about when black people were punished for being black? how during the crusades? or during the "reformation"? What is christianity, but a tool to get a lot of people to agree & act with a single (or similar) intent?

Christianity did none of that in the abscence of the authority of the state. All of those crimes were state crimes not religious crimes. The state has certailny used religion to justify its own goals, but then it has also used many other forms of mind control to achieve the same thing. Were those murdered in the USSR or in Communist China murdered by christians? Free of the state, the most radical forms of christianity have been the Quakers and the Amish. The irony of the video posted above is that it exposes who the true moralists in our society, those who trully believe they should be empowered by the state to force their views upon the rest of us, really are.

Yeah. Imagine these gays expecting to have the same rights as "socially conservative white men." Although, ironically, it was socially conservative black men who felt that some people were more equal than others.

They already do. Socially conservative white men have no right to marry each other.

Oh good. They're not allowed to do something that they don't want to do anyway. At least everyone is happy.

A thought just occurred to me: we should take out all of the disabled accesses in buildings; after all, disabled people have the same right to use the stairs as everybody else.

Precisely. If we want to make buildings more accessible simply because we are just really nice guys, thats great. But there is simply no such thing as 'a right to use stairs'. No government should empower itself with the authority to force us to all be nice people. If I don't want my building accessible to cripples, thats my business. And if my community believes gay marriage is an abomination before God, we should have the right to outlaw it (just as long as we are not violating anything else in the constitution by doing so)
