Just imagine, you got a chance to select worlds grestest cricket player then who will be your choice? and why? you can support or defend anyones choice.. Starting myself.. my choice is SACHIN TENDULKAR. The living legend in the world.Scored more than 17000+ runs in ODI and 12000+ in Tests. Most of the records in the cricket belongs to this little master. He started his international career when he was only 16 and continuing even after 20 years.so i wont think once more my pick is this what about you?

There are a few choices here. I can go for Imran Khan or Waseem Akram, both all-rounders. But I would go for Brian Lara. Brian Lara has a lot of style, something lacking in Sachin Tendulkar. NULL

Dennis Compton! Used to turn up at Lords in his Evening Suit after being out all night, then change to whites and still play like a God.

You mean David "52 beers on a flight to England" Boon?[^] All joking aside, that guy IS a cricket legend! :)
One day, David Boon and Ian Botham walked into bar and no one was in the least bit suprised.

Aahhh, a fucking lazy arse batsmen, what you really want is a bowler and if you have to pick a Pom it would have to be Freddie Trueman. Though any twat with half a brain knows that Dennis Lillee is the greatest cricketer of all time. Missed about 4 years of cricket in his prime, a back injury he wasn't expected to return from and World Series Cricket. On top of that he had to contest with other great bowlers at the other end of the wicket, including Jeff Thompson, Bob Massey and Max Walker to name a few. Never had the wickets all to himself.

Gotta give you that, but I would also add Thommo to the list of Greatest Players Of The World Ever!

Style does not mean copy-book batting. Lara has always been acknowledged as the more stylish batsman of the two. Tendulkar was (is) technically more correct though, and Warne (arguably the greatest test bowler ever) rates Tendulkar above Lara.

Good choices. It's said that Wasim Akram has more fans in India than in his home country - including yours truly :-)

All time? I may go for Sobers or Bradman. India? I'd go for Kapil or Kumble. Current? I'd go for Tendulkar, Murali, or Ponting. Personal fav : Vettori.
