He has to say that. Smitha vets his posts, and if it gets too bad, Smitha will vet him.

Mrs Nagy doesn't work for Code Project. Mrs Smitha does.

Nah, it's the webmasters fault. We're not responsible for the crappy content on the page.

More to the point, why don't more websites use the magic infinite detail zoom that I always see on CSI? ;P

Actually you would be surprised what can be done. I have some image processing in my background and most of my team joked about the craziness of TV. Realy the craziness is just that it is a under budgeted CSI group that would have access. But it is not that far fetched, except for how quickly they accomplish it. Look into Wavelet Theory[^] if you are interested in more. Best put on your math hat though. If you thought Fourier transforms were hard you will likely stumble before you finish the abstract readings...

Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet.

Is it related to the hgih res panoroma from a low res video swept over a building app MS demoed a few years ago that took advantage of subsquent frames almost never being offset by integral numbers of pixels?

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. You like that? You go right on staring at it. I prefer looking at galaxies. -- Sarah Hoyt
