I recently started to use xbmc and if others are about to use it as well i want to point out some extra info which may be usefull. Lots of info and, more interesting, ready to launch installations with ubuntu can be found on: XBMC Freak[^] Xbmc as tv recorder (with commercial skipping) look for: yet another digital video recorder[^]
