    PC Gamer[^]:

Using a virtual machine, Parker set up a Windows XP instance and configured it to be fully exposed with no firewall and no anti-virus software, just like the good old days.

    So, just like Windows 11?

This guy must have set up a Windows XP RTM system. XP SP2 and SP3 automatically turned on the firewall during installation and the XP ISOs I have have SP3 embedded. Bottom line, don't let some "gamer" configure your system.

Probably. I couldn't be convinced to watch the YouTube video to find out. There probably weren't any cats in the video.

I know there weren't any cats in the video. They would have been smarter and used an XP ISO that contains SP2 or 3 built in.

Very true. I was just saying that I had little interest in watching the video to see if they were smart enough to do that. Personally, I doubt it, and the results seem to agree with that conclusion.
