    After using my computer for few hours svchost.exe uses a lot of processor time on Windows XP. When I kill it, it respawns and behave properly. Is it a "feature" of Windows XP or did I something wrong :confused: ? Krzysztof Porowski

      To see what it is doing, in a "DOS" box type the following tasklist /SVC tasklist /FI "PID eq processID" For some help tasklist /? this may help you to track down which process is at "fault"
