Nice to here that your software has got awards and ratings but awards and ratings are not enough to sell a software. It should have the facts in numbers of how it will help and get a ROI .Why will people invest in your software if they don't how it will help them and if they don't know what's the ROI they will be getting from the investment. You also need to showcase how your software is unique when compared to other software.

If your software is really good then you don't have worry about selling it. You need to focus on marketing. “Doing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark. You know what you are doing but nobody else does.” ― Steuart Henderson Britt, Marketing Management and Administrative Action The product should be showcased and if it's worth then people will contact you. All you have to prove is how your product is value added to the business and provides a definite ROI.

Hi, I'm not an IT expert so I would be the wrong person to give you any technical advice, but I do have a beauty shop and have successfully created an online business :) Currently I am selling around 40% of my products online and that number is increasing month by month. I wasn't always successful with my webshop though, I failed quite badly on my first try. At first I had problems with my webhost, didn't really have a very good website and didn't rank very high on search engines so my shop just wasn't generating enough visitors. So after about one year I decided to take my online shop down and give it a completely new try. The second attempt worked much better. Looking back, one of the simplest but most important factors was that I did an extrensive keyword research and managed to register a domain name on here that exactly matched one of the most frequent search terms for my product line. Another factor that was really important on being successful online is knowing your audience. I decided to contact my loyal regular customers, told them about my project building an online shop and asked them what they would like to see included in it. What I found is that I had to keep the shop and the website design neat, simple and easy to navigate. I also only included around 10% of my most popular products in the store into the webshop in order to keep it simple and managable. I'm aware that you are working in a very different field, but maybe you will find some of my experience useful. As for getting found in search engines, I would suggest you to focus on a maximum of 5 or 6 frequently used search terms in your field and try getting a matching domain name beacuse they tend to rank almost automatically on search engines. Also being stationed in Moscow it would be better to focus on the Russian market since from my experience most clients like to hire a local company. And since Moscow is a huge city with over 12 million inhabitants, you have a huge potential customer base in Moscow alone. Hope you find some of the advice useful, eventhough I can't give you any IT and web dev specific advice :)

Dear You have to comply with a lot of statutory regulation and registration. But getting all and starting a business is impossible in India, atleast in my place, kerala. You go ahead with some of the few below and comply with others as you grow up. 1. You can get a MSME registration from DIC (District Industries Center). This will help you fetch locations in software parks, subsidized electricity bills. You can also avail investment subsidy. This will be of the tune of around 10-20% of your investments. 2. You must a registration from the Local Administration. (Corporation, Municipality, Panchayath)etc 3. If you plan to employee, then you have to comply with ESI & PF 4. If you will be have large turnovers then you will have to take a Service Tax Registration 5. If you wish to sell your softwares in CD, or other object then you will also have to take a Sales Tax Registration 6. You will have to take a current account in Bank, if you wish to have some foreign remmitance or sales. 7. You can take IE code from DGFT for exporting your softwares. You will be able claim income tax benefits, lot of other benefits. 8. Else you come down to Kerala and do a enquiry at our startup village, rest will be taken care of... :) Enjoy.. Well, Python is of no use if you are going with a web development business, though you can use it for creating Android games, and you might start a company. But first you need to master other languages too. My Recommendation is go with blogging if you want to start online business, learn basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript and start a website about Tech, you will find various ebooks which can teach you blogging, you can visit my blog which is TrickFreak Technology Blog and I have recently posted Swipe Sense Review. I wish you a good luck for your future!
