My article[^] had thousands (IIRC) of page views when it was an "unedited contribution". Now it has only 136 views after being edited. Is that normal? Page views are an important indicator for the success of an article. Are they really thrown away? :~ :(

We had a small database issue that results in some page view data being lost. Apologies for the inconvenience. cheers, Chris Maunder

I've viewed it again - even though it's it's just a drop in the ocean ;)

We say "get a life" to each other, disappointed or jokingly. What we forget, though, is that this is possibly the most destructive advice you can give to a geek.
