Just as I thought. This guy gets around, his posts and books are posted on many anti-Islamic sites. I believe his articles were quoted here on CP several times, in fact some with the same title. As for being hysterically anti-Islam, yes he is, look at his books. I find it ironic that he uses Al-Araby as a pen name, because I've seen several cases where he shows extreme weakness in analyzing Arabic words and sentences. As for case by case analysis of what you posted, you can find it online, just like you found these.

The problem is not with people believing such things. There are people all over who believe in stuff equally or more outlandish. The problem comes when some text in some holy book causes people to murder and commit equally horrendous acts thinking that they will go to paradise.

As soon as you write something, you're an author, aren't you? You don't have to have your work published in order to call yourself author (although, that would be meaningless). "how anybody can say he is a author" is a clear indication that abuafraan might not know the meaning of the word "author". :)

I see where you are going with this, trying to protray the Christian faith as promoting violence, like Islam. The difference is that the Bible, in the New Testament does not command us to kill unbelievers, and whenever violence is committed in the name of christianity, we have no problem denouncing it, while the Muslims will not denounce terrorism committed in the name of Allah. I am not going anywhere and I dont for one moment think that any religion promotes violence. You assume to much. Like most things it is not black and white. The "Christian Faith" is not a single entity. There are lots of different types of Christians just as there are lots of different types of Muslims. Each have there own interpretation of their respective holy book or teachings. There are and alawys have been crazy elements within these religions that interpret these writing as justification for what would otherwise be unacceptable behaviour. And there will always be moderate groups within these religions thatw ill defend there more extreme groups out of blind faith. The play really is a good read.
