I see where you are going with this, trying to protray the Christian faith as promoting violence, like Islam. The difference is that the Bible, in the New Testament does not command us to kill unbelievers, and whenever violence is committed in the name of christianity, we have no problem denouncing it, while the Muslims will not denounce terrorism committed in the name of Allah. I am not going anywhere and I dont for one moment think that any religion promotes violence. You assume to much. Like most things it is not black and white. The "Christian Faith" is not a single entity. There are lots of different types of Christians just as there are lots of different types of Muslims. Each have there own interpretation of their respective holy book or teachings. There are and alawys have been crazy elements within these religions that interpret these writing as justification for what would otherwise be unacceptable behaviour. And there will always be moderate groups within these religions thatw ill defend there more extreme groups out of blind faith. The play really is a good read. Were you completely unaware that this had occured in your country? I have taken a vow of poverty. If you want to really piss me off, send me money.

I find it interesting that after Adnan says he is leaving, some muslim shows up with the exact same writing trolling style as him. Also, your profile was created the day after Adnan said that he was leaving, and both yours and Adnan's have Pakistan listed under location. "When only the police have guns, it's called a Police State."

You said in your earlier post that it was about burining women alive in the name of Christianity. That has not happened here. The webpage at virginia.edu said nothing about burning women alive in the name of Christianity, it said it was about the hunt for communist sympathizers under McCarthy during the cold war. There is a big difference. "When only the police have guns, it's called a Police State."

And like to make posts that sound exactly like a those of a troll that just announced that he is leaving. The only posts you have made were in the soapbox, like someone above noted, not the programming forums. "When only the police have guns, it's called a Police State."

Well you didnt read a lot did you? The play was about the killing of a number of men and women for witch craft in 1692 in Massachusetts. The play was written in the 50's and the witch craft was used as an analogy for the hunting of communists at that time. <

Tell me if This[^] is not your exact same writing style. Notice how both you and Adnan write long paragraphs with no spaces after punctuation points. "When only the police have guns, it's called a Police State."

You joined on 22 Jan, and in your very first post, you say Nish is from Kerala. Could you please enlighten us as to how know this? BTW, Adnan, the correct character for the apostrophe is ' (near the Enter key on most keyboards), not the ` (near the number keys). Cheers, Vikram.

many muslim states are modern and dont reflect extreemism anyway, infact noone. regarding alqeda etc, they are like any other groups ,you may easily find such groups in every country or religion and such groups are not appreciated by majority.

yes its true, there are severel illetrate mullahs in muslim society, here illetrate means who don`t have basic idea of a religioin`s teaching and they like to interpretate things literally rather going into depth. And this is not among muslim society only, history has told us about orthodox Christian preiests who had rejected Galileo`s theory long time back, because according to them,it was against their bible as they were used to follow Copernicus's theory.

many muslim states are modern and dont reflect extreemism anyway, infact noone. regarding alqeda etc, they are like any other groups ,you may easily find such groups in every country or religion and such groups are not appreciated by majority.

yes its true, there are severel illetrate mullahs in muslim society, here illetrate means who don`t have basic idea of a religioin`s teaching and they like to interpretate things literally rather going into depth. And this is not among muslim society only, history has told us about orthodox Christian preiests who had rejected Galileo`s theory long time back, because according to them,it was against their bible as they were used to follow Copernicus's theory.

I know that both my wife and my mother are women who respect themsleves and live decent, moral lives. I know that because they had the freedom to choose to do otherwise.
