http://www.sun.com/lawsuit/ Sun is suing M$ Isn't that great. I love people who sue them... (please, note: I am very anti-M$ for many reasons. I just won't list them right now :) ) Programming in binary is as easy as 01 10 11.

Hey cool! I've been anti-Micro$haft ever since I couldn't pirate Windows XP and they invaded my privacy with Micro$haft Pa$$port. Glad to have a fellow hater around, Greven. Greven wrote: Isn't that great. I love people who sue them... Yesh - I'm talking with my laywer about suing them for loss of income since they illegally tied Notepad with Windows which prevented my NoteWriter program from being sold. I reckon I can get about $200 million out of them, then I'll turn around and sue them again, this time for using my program, then when I get the cash from that lawsuit I'll sue 'em again for billions saying they've illegally restricted the use of NoteWritter! It's bound to work. ________________ David Wulff http://www.davidwulff.co.uk Sonork ID: 100.9977 Dave …

You dude! It's like opensource already man. It so cool 'cause you have to compile the sources yourself in order to use it, though you won't need to 'cause it's had so much expert code review ('cause it's opensource, dude) that it is, like, way better than the $$$ sh!t out there! http://www.notewriter.org or http://notewriter.sourceforge.org. Don't get stuck using a superior product, use NoteWriter - the opensource dudes' friend! ________________ David Wulff http://www.davidwulff.co.uk Sonork ID: 100.9977 Dave …

I'm thinking about sueing Microsoft over Windows. When Windows came out people didn't want my DOS Windowing C++ library. I'm thinking of sueing because Microsft tied window functionality into Windows :-D Michael :-)

Maybe we could get a class action suit going here. I, too, was thinking of suing MS. Their failure to completely dominate the Internet has caused too many options for programmers, which effects the marketing of my C++/Windows skills. When Windows was the only clear choice for all but lesser mortals, demand for my skills was at an all time high. Since they've failed to create a monopoly on the Internet, however, people are diversifying, writing web based apps and even using (gasp!) Linux on the back end instead of NT. Since these are all systems that should have been written in Windows with MFC, I feel that I deserve compensation for loss of potential income. We're programmers. Monopolies are good for business. This is great!! I've always wanted to sue somebody. Now I know who. I never wrote NoteWriter, because Microsfoft trashed the market with NotePad. Now I can sue them for lost revenue and whoever did write NoteWriter for plagerizing my unvoiced ideas. Thanks for the help, Bill
