Is there any problem implementing the same methods used now? Are you just trying to add more options to the user? Nick Parker

This was an email sent in by a user. I should have been clearer on that. My point was to say 'if you send me an email then remember: I'm good, but sometimes my telepathy is temporarily offline' cheers, Chris Maunder

Nah, thank you, getting enough of this already. My last moment of unbelievable joy was when a customer on the phone said "uh, now it asks for the windows disk. Ah! I have it right here!"

Actually, given the excellent response from peterchen, I'd say you just found the Ultimate Interview Question when you start hiring... Chistopher Duncan Author - The Career Programmer: Guerilla Tactics for an Imperfect World (Apress)

Isn't that why they started the "Whatever For Dummies" book series? But then again, we are only talking about interviews so those type of questions are commonplace. :) Nick Parker

Yeah, I love that series. My favorite title so far is "MCSE Designing a Windows 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure For Dummies" (I'm not making this up.) Er, wasn't MCSE one of those certification programs that was supposed to weed out the dummies? Chistopher Duncan Author - The Career Programmer: Guerilla Tactics for an Imperfect World (Apress)

Chris Maunder wrote: Any ideas anyone? At first I thought you were having a good poke at the fellow. Then I read your other posts here and thought "Chris can't seriously wan't to actually figure out how to answer the guy, surely?" Then it twigged: You are being a good webmaster. But I do not think this has to do with the site, I think he asking you how to create a User system for whatever project he is doing. You know, the FAQ "How do I make a login system in ASP?" kind of question. Response is "http://www.aspfaqs.com/webtech/050499-1.shtml" You could point him at the ASP forum for tons of answers. Though my mind reading abilities may be a bit off and he really is asking how to sign up with CP. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa "The greatest thing you will ever learn is to love, and be loved in return" - Moulin Rouge Sonork ID: 100.9903 Stormfront
