    I don't give a shit about anyone not giving a shit about the Winter Olympics. I am just saying I don't give a shit either. Snowboarding events were the only Winter Olympics events that I even remotely gave a shit about, and even then it was giving too much shit about it. PC

        After posting the message, I remembered a South Park cartoon episode where all of the characters say shit 162 time in the course of the 20 minutes of cartoon ( minus all the commerical time). PC

          If you sit back and contemplatze your confusion, you might understand that this is exactly the same feeling we old fart europeans have when people talk about cricket.

                            That's what the organizers would like you to think. Being from British Columbia, Canada, I've read up a lot on this (we're hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics). I can't find a single Olympics that has actually generated a profit. In fact, most of them are huge money losers. Here's[^] just one of money takes on the topic. Cheers, Drew.

                                      Well, he's started to make a name for himself as a starter for the Montreal Canadiens. And with the announcement that Jose Theodore will be out for 6 weeks with a cracked bone in his foot, the playoff hopes for Montreal rest squarely on Crostobal's shoulders. I'd love to see him win 17 of the last 25 games the Canadiens have left. :) Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] When I want privacy, I'll close the bathroom door.                                         Well, I know him :) ( I personally find him awesome :-O ). He's been very popular a few years ago (when the french team had had surprisingly good results), but I cannot really say that he ever had much media coverage... ~RaGE();

                                        he's almost on his way to become mayor of Montreal if he keeps up and the team makes the playoff La Marseillaise is even played at the arena :) here's an article about the last game before the Olympic break that might interest you: http://www.cyberpresse.ca/article/20060212/CPSPORTS01/602120553/1002/CPSPORTS[^]

                                          oh I know :-D I grew up in the Montreal area and pretty much have red white and blue blood cells :-D I'm now a Habs fan living in Sens territory... it's a tough year. Been a Theo fan since he played junior here, but even I have recently given up on him and I'm more and more impressed with Huet's game every start he gets. Go Habs Go
