I have a friend who has a "abit bx133raid" baord (as he describes it at least, dunno if it has another name or not). According to the documentation it goes to 1ghz - but he's put a 1ghz processor and it's causing compatibility problems, as well as losing memory. It works fine throttled to 900mhz. Does anyone has any ideas on how to work around this situation, or have similar experiences with this mobo? -- Andrew.

I remember reading about Mobos that supported 1 gig but some had troubles. If the motherboard is still on warranty he should check in to getting it replaced. If he wants to get rid of it I do accept donations :) -:suss:Matt Newman:suss: -Sonork ID: 100.11179:BestSnowman
