Office2000 update!

I have office2000 pro. edition on windows xp.Yesterday I download core upudate1 and 2 from microsoft site.And I install them. Now when I execute one of office applications ,it run but after one or two seconds it close automaticlly!!!!!This happend to all of them exept Excel,it still works proparly. They have a predictive algorithm that determines that you're about to generate data that may not represent Microsoft in the best light, and consequently terminate the application.
