They take your job
I don't think so - For the moment, I still have to meet an IT engineer who is an illegal immigrant.

they don't pay taxes
They may not pay income tax but they pay others, like VAT.

Why are we forced to let enter foreign goods into our country?

Very nice. What about others?

They may not pay income tax
So they are cheaper.

You can let them enter your country, too. But like the goods it's your decision. There are many immigrants who are welcome. But no illegally ones. It's like illegally goods - they are stopped, too.

Come on. If you want to discuss use arguements. If you just give stupid comments, I won't discuss with you. ------------------------------ PROST Roleplaying Game War doesn't determine who's right. War determines who's left.

Globalization means goods and services can travel freely and be exchanged worldwide, but at the same time, men are not allowed to do the same.

You mean sweatshop workers?
ihoecken wrote:

The reason they are cheaper is they are illegal immigrants. So they cannot open their mouth to improve their conditions, they are always under the threat to be denounced.
ihoecken wrote:

No way. It is the WTO's decision.
ihoecken wrote:

I don't pretend 'we' have to welcome illegal immigrants. I'm just surprised it is easier for a good produced in a chinese laogai to enter my country than for a man who wants a better life.

It is not because you don't understand an argument that it is a stupid one... Look at GMOs for instance : In Europe we will be forced to accept them on our markets even if we don't want them.[^]

Apparently, from what I've heard, there are some that actually pay income taxes....because they own homes. "How did they get to buy a home if they are here illegally?" I can hear this question from some of you. The answer is that they used forged documentation using someone else's social security number. They are paying income taxes into someone else's account and using someone else's credit information to buy homes and cars. The going price for this documentation is $500 - $1000 dollars.
