That really depends on the manufacturer. I think some manufacturers for AMD-processor-boards use the "Kx"-designation - anything with K7 being a MB for an Athlon/Duron, K8 for an Athlon64, etc. Thats JUST A GUESS, though. The most important clue to judge the mainboard would be the "CHIPSET" and "SOCKET" columns in an online-shop, followed by RAM-slot and Card-Slot information.
