:omg: I could only watch about 3 seconds of that. That's just fucking cruel! If you're going to wear it, kill it humanely, otherwise wear plants (cotton) or synthetics.

I'm not sure how anyone can take PETA propaganda. They er, sponsor terrorism and are staggering hypocrites when it comes to small matters like using insulin and putting down 'rescued' animals. Damn vegan fascists, video contains swearing[^] Ryan

I am sure one must not do such a thing.

Just for the record, I don't care about any organisation that leans to extremicy. I just got the link in my mailbox and I don't care who filmed it, it's just ... (Just so you wouldn't think I was PETA propagandist ;P) I've found a living worth working for, but I haven't found work worth living for.

That is utterly repugnant. There is no justifiction for such extreme cruelty towards any living creature. As someone who enjoys eating meat I couldn't stomach it if I thought it were killed in such inhumane fashion. Do the people who skin animals alive believe, perhaps, that there is something to be gained from this practice or are they just too lazy or cruel to dispatch the hapless creatures prior to doing what gets done to all animals before we get to eat them? home

Sick. Its not the first time I've seen this kind of thing, dogs, cats, chickens, (food in their country), all treated abismally. And its not just the Chinese but Koreans, Japanese too. Nunc est bibendum
I'm sure the only reason the Chinese do what they do for the pandas is they know it makes good propaganda in the west. And now the Japanese want to resume their whale slaughter too supplement their "scientific" whale sushi. A whole new generation of fat cat Chinese are on the horizon demanding tiger penis to keep their failing dicks working. The evolution of the human genome is too important to be left to chance.

You got my 1. You sure dug out the important issue from it. The evolution of the human genome is too important to be left to chance.

No, I felt the important issue is not to believe everything you see, especially when it comes from a group skilled in propaganda, and known to actually mistreat animals when they think no-one is looking. These groups are probably started for the right reasons, but soon have a vested interest in spreading horror stories, one that lines their pockets deeply. And just because some groups take the radical approach doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist. The evolution of the human genome is too important to be left to chance.

I'm sure there are problems relating to cruelty to animals. I just wouldn't take the time to read what PETA has to say about it, because I don't trust their info to be balanced, or even accurate. Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++ Metal Musings - Rex and my new metal blog

I think if I witnessed what was happening on that video, I'd end up trying to kill those people. I suppose you think that is radical but anyone who would do that for whatever reason doesn't have an ounce of empathy and, in my opinion, can't be considered remotely human. The evolution of the human genome is too important to be left to chance.

If I saw an animal being harmed, I would plainly intervene. All I'm saying is, if I saw a PETA video, I would not necessarily believe that it represented the facts, and I'd flat out expect that the blurb which accompanied it to not tell all the facts about what had been filmed, where and so on.
