      Actually, according to the UN and all nations, US included, it is Tel Aviv. According to Israel, it is Jerusalem. Atlases tend to put Jerusalem because Israel wants it that way. Although the CIA world fact book says it's Jerusalem, the US has legally refused to acknowlege it for fear of finalizing the status of Palestine.
