YOU take a look at the picture. I don't think he is actually retarded or disabled in any way. I think he is only posing for the picture, thinking it's funny. Look at the way he is holding the book in his fingers? Observe how his index finger is supporting the book so neatly. Also notice how his other fingers are curled rather gracefully. Mentally retarded people are like children. Have you ever seen a child hold a book like that? A child would hold it rather clumsily, not in a "sophisticated" or "proper" way like this guy. (Pardon my vocabulary.) Also look at the hand he is pointing towards the book. The fingers are closed firmly. Again, this is something a child would not do. A child's fingers would be loosely closed in a fist, and the pointing finger would be curled slightly. He is not a retard. He is just posing. Moving on...

I found the picture funny, but I do agree with the others that starting a thread just to insult someone is immature. You could have waited till he said something that deserved this kind of a reply, and then posted the link. The way you do for other pictures. I find them hilarious. But seeing you are only 16, your behavior is totally understandable. Have fun, and don't let these people get you down. Your age is the only age when you are ALLOWED to act immature. In fact, it's expected of you. When you grow up, you will have to act like a grown up. So make the most of this time. Why act like a grown up when you are still a teen? There is plenty of time for that later. If 30- or 40-something years old people expect you to act their age when you are still a teen, just show them your prized finger. And I don't know why people are so obsessed with being politically correct and sensitive to everyone's feelings all the time. No matter what you say or do, it will either be sexist, or racist, or anti gay, or anti this or that, and will end up offending someone. What's wrong with a good laugh without taking it too seriously?
