Iran, Syrian leaders laud Hezbollah ‘victory’[^] What exactly did Hezbollah win? Israel bashed them to pieces, has now occupied a few miles into Lebanon, got the Lebanese gov't to agree to dismantle Hezbollah, etc. Did Israel ever get their soldiers back?

Like Peter noted, it's a relative term, kinda like "tax cut". We all expected them to get pounded a lot harder...

The ground war and the propaganda war against Israel. Hezbollah killed 150 Israelis, over 80% of them soldiers. Israel killed 1,000 Lebanese, over 80% of them civilians. You do the math.

for what ? what is it with you people have no eyes what about what the Israeli army is doing every day to Palestinians , they invade palastinian neibourhoods (ofcourse all palastinians have weapons and bombs in their houses )so that the Israeli army can bomb their houses or destroy it and when people are injured they dont let ambulances through when they are ,they dont let medical supplies and food through ,come on,is this any way common sense,no body is always right and no body is always wrong,
