Web service [modified]

Hi, My virtual directory is C:\Intpub\wwwroot.And i created a directory i.e prwebsr under wwwroot.In the PRWEBSR directory i created a webservice.After that when i try to add a reference of that created web service it is giving error.COULD NOT CREATE TYPE SERVICE.Why this error is coming.If i created a webservice under the WWWROOT then ADDWEBREFERENCE is successful.
