yah! i am frm kolkata but i have been 2 Delhi i am working in vb.net2.0 version. can u help me with code that how can i populate the datagridview in edit mode which will open in another form when one selects the row of a datagridview. cheers....:rose: Taniya Banerjee

hello taniya, i'm also from delhi, and working in vb. if u want to populate teh datagrid current record on another form, then u have to use command argument and command name in aspx page. after it, in the selelct index property of the datagrid get the command argument, and u will get the selected id.now u can get teh current record with the help of this id, and redirect on the other page with the selected value. i hope this may help u. in which company u r working in delhi and where is it. bye take care
