      I think I saw something about it on TV some time ago. When I remember right, they said that it will take estimated 30 years till this technology will be usable in "Real world". Long time, unfortunately... Marius

        A step in the right direction... but many more investments in R&D are needed to get rid of oil and coal.

          This is another step, the prvious system (I think it was JET) sustained fusion for 3 seconds and ITER is going for 500 seconds. In fusion terms 3 seconds is a verrrrrrrrry long time so the project is progressing. Yes, it is still going to take a long time but the end goal is worth it. Elaine :rose:
