    It always say 'It is now safe to turn of your computer'. It never did that with Me or 2000 on the same computer but it does when I installed XP.

      Check your power management settings, both in Windows and in the BIOS. Verify you have the correct chipset drivers installed. --------_**

        Mkaes sure you have APM enabled int eh power options int the control panel. Go to Power and then Advananced Power Management and tick the enable APM support thing... should work fine then [or is it EPM... one or the other]
