Weird liquid This liquid is weird it has 37 anamolies, and the governments are allowing people to use it as they desire, something like this should be restricted for our own protection. BTW: 37 is of course a clue to The Sequence Regardz Colin J Davies

****Colin Davies wrote: BTW: 37 is of course a clue to The Sequence Argh... 37 is a factor of 407 and 296 from the sequence. It's also a factor of the first 5, 6 and 7 numbers (and the sum of the last 6 numbers). However, the sum of the last 7 is 38, and the last 8 (all of 'em) is 39... and from one of your first hint, the sum of the last 4 is a multiple of 40. Unfortunately, my unmathematical brain sees no pattern there except that there seem to be a lot of 37s. Ok, you are going well Jamie, The next thing to do is to compare the sums and the differences of various combinations of numbers with the Tringle Numbers that exist It might pay to make a list of the triangle numbers and a list of there index numbers. To compare as you work. Another useful list of numbers may well be the perimeter numbers. I hope you are only doing this if you have time to waste, :-) Regardz Colin J Davies

The answer is 420. And let me just add... holy shit. And the earth was without form and void. I cheated. But I never would have got it. It's sort of random I think, in that I don't see a real pattern. They've just noticed that certain groupings hold certain properties. I'm sure enough mathematicians could probably proove that Elvis was prophesized in the book of Job. :~ J "I am wise enough to therefore not spout my ill informed opinion as if it were remotely related to fact." - Christian Graus

Sure, I don't doubt that, there are many other coincidences outside of those ancient texts, for example its believed there are Inscriptions on Mayn Temples usinge the same sequence for star gazing presumably. And else where the same sequence recurrs independantly. Regardz Colin J Davies

Isn't it, like, 4 in the morning over there? Shouldn't you be sleeping?! J "I am wise enough to therefore not spout my ill informed opinion as if it were remotely related to fact." - Christian Graus
