Christian's list is pretty good and I would add The Usual Suspects.

I second the first Matrix, and the first Pirates of the Carribean. The only sequel worse than Matrix III would be Dead Man's Chest. Ever.

The first of those two were great. The second Matrix was a stepping stone to the third which was very good, but obviously not of the same caliber as the first. The second POTC was also a stepping stone to the third. It only appeared bad because they made Davy Jones a real thing instead of just a fantasy. However, the acting was still there. And Keira Knightley is vavavavoom. :)

Ahton Kutcher can't act, you are right about that. However, he did do better in that than in anything else (the few that) we've seen him in. But the story was still an interesting one and I did not see that coming.

Only because sequels always are. And the second paved the way for the third, which wasn't that bad.

Go watch Pride and Prejudice and Love Actually. Such a beauty in both. Good movies too.
