Interesting list. Boys Don't Cry really upset me too, as did Soldier's Girl (the story of Calpernia Addams relationship with Barry Winchell, and his subsequent murder by another soldier on his base). Akira is one of my partner Beth's favourites. I imagine she's really like some of the others on your list too. Thanks. :rose:

That's a great movie. You should check out Drunken Master II if you can find it. Legend of Drunken master is an edited version that has been dubbed into English, but it isn't as good as the original.

Cool :) I did post the list on my blog in case you lose track of this. http://smoothjazzy.blogspot.com/2006/12/some-of-my-favorite-films.html I also like the Read or Die series, which was 3 short films and then a TV series in Japan. Cowboy Bebop is another good one, but it's also a TV series so I didn't put it on here. There's two Cowboy Bebop movies, but they are chronologically in the middle of the TV series, so a little weird to watch unless you're familiar with the TV series.
