Nope, I ain't gay and my GADAR is real weak so here's my question ... if a guy is well settled (earns around $100K, has a house, a car etc.) and is in this 30s ... doesn't have a girlfriend and has never mentioned having one from the past ... is he gay ? -- moved at 15:29 Tuesday 5th December, 2006

Read my post closely ... especially the first line. The reason I am asking is because it sometimes gets awkard during smalltalk ... and I don't want to offend him in anyway. I am married and with a kid ... now if I tell him "Someday you will have kids" ... that might not be appropriate.
I know a woman (ex-)married with children who took 40 years to find out she's gay... Seriously: I'm 33, single, most of my friends know nothing of my "escapades", and I'm so not gay. (Just an unhealthy addiction to loco women)

I've driven in Denver - it's not too bad. The only thing about driving in Denver that freaked me out was when I asked at the car hire place if they could explain a 4-way stop sign to me (as we don't have that concept) they said "Who ever arrives at the junction first gets to go first". So I reply "So what if two people arrive at the same time?" And the response from the woman with the most dead pan straight face I've ever seen (not a hint of humour) said "Who ever has the largest gun rack has the right of way". I don't even know what a gun rack looks like!

I know a few like that. I suppose it's cynical, but i can't help but wonder if they didn't just get tired of being beaten finally. If so, it's unfortunate, as their tastes in women are every bit as bad as their tastes in men... :sigh:

OMG! I really laughed at your response. Technical answer, whomever is to the right goes first. A gun rack is usually at the back of a cab of a pickup (also called uke in Australia...not sure about GB). It basically looks like shelving without the shelves. Usually they hold three rifles/shotguns.

Reading comics is no indicator of being gay. My husband is a HUGE comic fan (he only needs about 5 comics to complete the ENTIRE X-Men collection). But he's more Star Wars than Star Trek, as am I.

To actually answer the question, the rule is whoever is to the right (ie, counter-clockwise) has the right of way. Sad to think how many people over here don't know this however when they plainly teach it in driver's ed.
