A couple of months ago I posted about Toxoplasma gondii. It is a parasite that causes mice to have a risk taking and fearless behavior. Scientists speculated that it could influence human behavior the same way. It is a very common parasite. It is estimated to infect 89% of France's population, 65% of Brazilians, 34% of Americans and 22% of British. Now, a new "research" indicates it might influence women's behavior in a very interesting way: they would become more sex-hungry[^]:-D

Don't think so ... they are probably distracted with what it does to woman.

"Infected men have lower IQs, achieve a lower level of education and have shorter attention spans. They are also more likely to break rules and take risks, be more independent, more anti-social, suspicious, jealous and morose, and are deemed less attractive to women." Given that, it's a futile distraction...

I think putting 'reasearch' in quotes was appropriate. I rather doubt the claims, unless it's a result of brain damage. I would expect different people to exhibit different changes. http://www.cdc.gov/NCIDOD/dpd/parasites/toxoplasmosis/factsht_toxoplasmosis.htm[^]
