Evangelical broadcaster Pat Robertson said Tuesday that God has told him that a terrorist attack on the United States would cause a "mass killing" late in 2007. Article[^]. Unfortunately, there is no comment I can make that can do his idiocy justice.

I guess 2006's hurricane season made Pat look like a complete jackass, and now he needs to come back strong in 2007. "Are you there God? It's me, Pat. What the f@#* was up with no hurricanes? I thought you were gonna kill a whole slew of pillow-biting fornicators to get our country back on track to 1860?"

Did God tell him, or is Pat on the inside...maybe the FBI should have a word with him ;P

Why is it that when he says that he heard god speak to him it is ok but when some one else says it they are NUTS! Not that I even believe in god mind you but I always found that odd. How dose one become ABLE to say that they can hear god and not be seen as a crazy person. Not that I don't think Pat Robertson is crazy mind you... aw, never mind.

I don't understand the question - I think Pat's loopy precisely because the believes God talks directly to him :). Seriously, lots of the TV Pastors are complete frauds and scam-artists in my opinion, and I'd spit on them if I found them bleeding in an alley. They're complete scumbags for preying on people's fear of the unknown, just to earn a quick buck. But I genuinely think Pat's driveway doesn't go all the way to the curb. Pat thinks God (infallible, remember...) spoke directly to him and told him hurricanes were going to hit the US and cause disasters because we're sinners. Then no hurricanes cause any devastation. Under such circumstances, a person in charge of their faculties would either question their faith in God, or question their belief that God actually spoke to them. But not Pat, because he's in his own little world.

Yeah that would have been great, because then this site would probably not exist, because the mindless retards who post here would not have the right to say anything.

And who is to say what intelligent speech is. What if you are not intelligent, should you get your vocal cords ripped out? I hate anti-freedom speech. X|

I've lost count of the number of predictions that man has made in Gods name that have not come true. What does the bible say about false prophets anyway? Something about swords and famine and casting his followers out onto the streets of Jerusalem I think. Sounds like an excellent idea to me.
