ok, I've been using vista for a few months now and like many others I have come across a few bugs. Where would be the appropriate place to report bugs with the hope of MS actually doing something about them?

Microsoft Connect[^]. They do keep track of issues reported there. I'm not sure, if there is category for Vista over there.
