Yes, we tried that approach, and it just elicited more spam from him. We're trying something different at the moment to establish a benchmark.

Well, there has to be a limit, which he obviously seemed to have crossed. I am in the process of registering a complaint with Interpol[^]. Their cyber-crime branch will deal with this bastard. If it is proven that he is mentally ill (which he obviously seems to be), then he will be put up in a mental asylum. Otherwise he will have to pay a really heavy penalty.

It is certainly a strange day at the Soapbox. Benchmark? I suspect you are wasting your time. Best of luck.

To be honest, I desperately want him to stop spamming the forums. My options are, however, rather limited in what I can do. I've tried reasoning with him, but that failed. I tried ignoring him, but that failed. I'll try pestering him until that fails and then maybe I'll lodge a formal complaint. It's getting ridiculous and it's to the point that now he is abusing the forum.

Yes, this is rather out of hand. He's interfering with everybody's ability to have a meaningful discussion here and for what purpose? Seemingly none at all. My only thought is that he is an abnormal individual. The behaviour he displays is certainly not normal. I'd like him to stop of his own valition because I don't find the idea of lodging a complaint appealing (it's not nice to have somebody deliberately banned), but in this case I almost feel it's justified. It would appear he is just abusing this forum for his own perverted pleasure. It's difficult to understand. He claims to want a meaningful discussion, but when you try to engage him in one it just degenerates into nonsense.

Someone already complained[^] and Maunder already responded and currently has a score of 2.4.

Then, why don't you join the BTB Bandwagon? But on the other hand, what if he doesn't uncritically believe the false things you boys are saying? I guess there is always that possibility, isn't there?

'Dhimmitude' is a state of mind.

How is anyone's sig relevant to anything? Must it be relevant to *everything* before it can be relevant to anything? If you kids weren't so busy getting rid of my posts, you might have seen the explanation:
