User control problem

I have a user control and I don't want some properties automatically generate value by the designer. I search MSDN and just see that I can use DesignOnlyAttribute class but it is not suitable for my situation. How could I do that? Thank for your help.

Hello, I think the "DefaultValue" Attribute is what you are looking for. If it's equal to the designtime setting, it will not generate code for this property. Be aware that the property has to be initialized correct. Hope it helps! All the best, Martin
