interaction with plugin!

i want to launch an acrobat.exe through my own application with the edit functionality plugin(edit the pdf documents).Can any body guide how to interact with the Plugin from my application via interface(getdispatch). Although the functionality can be implemented through DDE....but is their any other way possible then pls guide me. ashutosh
