    Hello frnds, i want to show a message box in word document, when i clicked the button in word 2003. for that purpose the method i used was : i took the button from visual basic tool bar in word2003,then i double click a button, it shows me a visual basic editor and i wrote a code to display a message box and save the word and exit from it, if i again open the word and click the button then nothing happens ..means no event fires..Why???????? where i am wrong ???? what should i do ? how can i use visual basic for applciation..:confused: plz help...regards,Koolprasasd2003

      hi KoolPrasad, THE REASON WHY IT IS NOT DISPLAYING THAT MSGBOX WHEN U RESTART, IS U NEED TO ENABLE MACROS IN MS-WORD. ENABLE THE MACROS THEN IT WILL SURELY DISPLAY THE MSGBOX. HOPE IT HELPS.. REGARDS IPS

          hi To enable macros in MS word.. follow these steps.. open MSword->open Tools menu-> open Macros-> click on Security menu-item. this will open the Security dialog box. now under the Security level Tab u will find three options.. now try clicking medium and Low options. first try using medium... hope it will solve ur proble.. else try using LOw. then close the document and restart it. This time u surely gonna get the msgbox. regards Nilish
