The 2012 London Olympic logo[^] appears to be a silhouette of Lisa Simpson giving head. Let's hope that the universally-negative comments make them change it.

The ones sent into the BBC by people who had knocked one up in half an hour are much better. I want my £400,000 back.

I could them one for half that price, it'd be a stick man sitting on a stick chair watching some stick athletes, there's be a stick surveillance camera pointed at the back of the seated stick man's head

"When people see the new brand, we want them to be inspired to make a positive change in their life,” Mr Blair said. Presumably instead of getting totally pissed off at the waste of £400K the new brand actually is, and wishing that he had gone as soon as he announced his resignation instead of wasting millions of taxpayer's money on a jolly to Africa.

The only consolation for me is that I just moved out of Livinston land so shan't be paying the £25 a year for 20 years (Yeah: like that'll be the end of it) that all Londonistaners pay toward the fiasco that the Olympics will become. And don't get me started on Tony B Liar and Gordon Broon. They're spit-roasting the UK.

a temporary tax? :wtf::omg::wtf::omg: My sympathies, the US only just got rid of a century old one dating back to the Spanish-American war. The only known substance with a longer half life is an emergency spending measure. X|

How long will it be before the logo is changed and changed it probably will be, the many sponsors will make their opinions known. After all, would you use a distinctly amateurish logo alongside your own company's slick livery. Imagine the Coca Cola corporate identity embracing the logo as it now is - probably unthinkable!

I don't think it's called a tax :-) It is purely to pay for the Olympics and is added to the council tax that Londoners pay. I have to say, though, that I think your local taxes are far higher than in the UK but you do get much better services. We don't have a clue.

                  That's an ugly logo.

Looks like someone pulled that one out of their ass.
