We used to have a counter on the lounge showing how many people were on at once, but as soon as we moved to a web farm it became more of a hassle than it was worth. cheers, Chris Maunder

As if I hadn't made it a hassle already then by posting threads about how the number of active users was going down drastically ;-) Nish

Oh, hey - i've been reading a book by some Indian guy, and i'm a bit confused as it keeps refering to cricket, a game i know nothing about. Do you know of any quick references out there? I'm not interested in pages and pages of rules, just a quick overview. Ideas? :) --------

There is a field & 2 sets of wickets along a pitch. You r either in the in team or in the out team. If u r in u bat, if u r out u bowl & field. The batters hoo r in run 4 runs, over the boundary is 4 with a bounce & without a bounce is 6. The team hoo is out field and bowl, and rotate the bowlers. They can bowl u out, catch u out, run u out or even LBW u out. So those hoo r out make u out, so they can go in. k :-) Regardz Colin J Davies

Well, i think some of those were words.... ;P So there's two teams, one at bat the other fielding, and after a given # of outs, they switch. So far so good (i.e., so far so much like baseball/softball). Each batter can score at most 4 runs per at bat, unless they manage to really whack it good, in which case they can score 6 runs? A batter can be struck out (fail to correctly hit pitches), caught out (hits pitch but hit is caught), tagged while running (where do they run? to the wickets?), or LBW'd out (Lacerated By Watcher?). --------
