I can't figure this beast out! I tried to do a routine search, and the Search pane pops up empty:mad: "Choose a category for your search:" it says, but the rest of the pane is blank - empty!!! It's been like this all day. Damn! "What is it?" and he said, "I don't know. Let's kill it." - Ed Gadziemski

It has happened to me many times. But I always am able to overcome that by clicking on customize and selecting a sarch provider. My only greatest problem has been that sometimes the search provider automatically changes.

I managed to use the Customize bit and select Lycos, but the default options that used to work all give script errors now. Maybe it's time to bite the bullet and switch to IE6. But I've heard nothing good about it:( "What is it?" and he said, "I don't know. Let's kill it." - Ed Gadziemski

Roger Wright wrote: Damn IE 5.5!!!! Get IE 6.0. I saw your comments below and you must be speaking to *nux fans. IE6 is great. It is really just a minor upgrade to 5.5 with added standards support. It works well, crashes as much as IE 5.5 did and loads fast. Nothing bad about it at all. Or you could go for Mozilla :) regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and to be loved in return - Moulin Rouge Tim Smith wrote: Over here in the third world of humor (a.k.a.
