is it possible to create a report which is editable?? That is,after generating the report, when I click on any of the item thats displayed in the report,Cursor need to appear.I need to do some changes(for example, say i change the text....for example, changing the name from Mohan to Mohana)and take out my cursor out of the field the change need to get saved... Is this practically possible?? kindly tell me..

yeah It is possible but in this case you need to design one page which will take input and will generate the final report, but if you are using crystal reports then it is not possible. Cheers!!
