This is about the most ignorant argument for creationism that I have seen yet. http://www.demonbuster.com/id.html From the site: Evolution theory (with no scientific proof) - in recent times, man has been arguing about where HUMANS/LIFE came from. But no one is asking - WHO put the world here? WHERE did mountains come from? WHERE did the oceans come from? WHERE did the sun and moon and other planets come from? WHO put all this stuff there? Seems like these questions override where humans/life came from, and gives the real answer - a Higher Power - Intelligent Design - God!

As someone (slightly) wiser than the average bear once said. There are a lot of ignorant people on the net, many bad web sites. This is good because you don't feel lonely anymore but bad because they can confuse you. Discernment is a gift we all need more of.

Nothing is exactly what it seems but everything with seems can be unpicked.

I'll take "Things that are dumb for $1000, Alex". Another name for teenagers with too much free time that insist on posting ridiculous religious topics just to inflame and/or troll SoapBox-style message boards. What are "dumbasses". Correct for $1000!

Unfortunately, there are people who mis-interpret and present things out of context, and this also holds true in Christianity. What we have here is a site that has good intention but presents and has mis-interpreted different portions of Christianity falsely. Now, whither they realize it or not they are hurting Christianity by this presentation. This type of false representation is not uncommon. There are many people in the world that use this false representation to try to move people to/from truth by not presenting the truth correctly. It is not an uncommon practice, there are some who do it here.

Trying to present demons as the cause of everything bad. Now, with that said I am not taking away from the common goal of demons but I am saying that Man has a freewill and that can cause bad things to happen in our life.

First of all, good try at trying to twist my words. Let me try to give a couple of examples: 1) Lung cancer- can be caused by smoking -this is freewill 2) Lung cancer- can be caused by no outside influence such as smoking but by the curse on Man brought about by Adam. -this section would be for people that have not accepted Christ 3) Lung cancer- can be caused by a demon when someone harbors anger or offense in their heart against someone. -this is where both a saved and unsaved person can get into trouble. I am not suggesting that the are punished but that, when a person gets outside the Commandments that person is fair game to demons. Think of it like this The Commandments are a super umbrella that is keeping out of hyper-active acid as long as you are under the umbrella you are fine but if you get outside of it you get burned. When I say an unsaved person I mean one that was heard the Law but has refused it.

Sorry to intrude on your fun here. I usually just read thru the Soapbox & move on, but could you explain this? So if I'm not christian, a non smoker & generally nice guy, and I happen to get lung cancer, it's because some guy who may or may not be real decided to eat some fruit thousands of years ago?

Not just "some guy" but God's original human creation. Your great-great-[ad infinitum]-grand father.

Not just "some fruit" but a sacred apple forbidden by the big guy himself. Geeeesh! Why is this so hard for people to accept!?
