:omg: Damn, you must live next to the phone company! I get 1.4 Mbps (downstream) at my parents' house, which is great. But yours is by far the best I've seen. Regards, Alvaro Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. - Albert Einstein

Not from me. You're still 8Mbps behind as far as I'm concerned. (cable not DSL though) ;P -- David Wengier Sonork ID: 100.14177 - Ch00k

It's not as great as it sounds, but it's nice. The 2Mbps rate is my local area (about a 15 mile radius). From there it crosses the river to Nevada and enters a single T1 to a POP in Las Vegas. When that pipe gets full, it really affects performance. Still, it's not bad for a place so remote that we don't get AOL:-D "What is it?" and he said, "I don't know. Let's kill it." - Ed Gadziemski

Thirty seconds, eh? So if you were in the Colonial Army during the American Revolutionary War, you'd be a half-minute man.

Have fun. It's great that you are on the broadband side now. Have a great time downloading. After a poor performance in London in 1899, Steinitz went insane and died a year later on August 12, 1900 at Wards Island, N.Y.
