Would it be possible to add a user setting to hide threads from trolls? So for something like this: http://www.codeproject.com/lounge.asp?msg=2147462#xx2147462xx[^] I chould just hit hide threads from this douchebag (or I suppose something a little more kid sister appropriate) so I wouldn't have to go through pages of crap to see if there are any useful threads. This way people could continue to feeding these idiots, but I wouldn't see threads started by this person. Side thought, maybe rather than completely hiding the thread just collapse the whole thread so all you see its there but it doesn't take up space (so if they actually go legit they don't need a new account)

I wonder what the point is?  It is like beating a dead horse :~ Once the message is gone, why continue voting on it?

Who knows for sure, it could be a big dog  I wonder if 5 votes could bring the message back from the dead? :suss:

I like this idea better than the way it works now. Frequently I see the starting message in a thread deleted, but the thread continues for a page and a half, and I'm thinking, What did I miss? There should be a "vote troll" button that replaces the current "delete message" mechanism, so that such threads would be shown automatically rolled up, instead of just deleting the message.

              Best wishes, Hans
