Why thank you! I was rather proud of that particular piece of handiwork. CSS is a powerful thing...

I'm not a geek, and I would have done the same. Serious Domenic what kinda fun is there at an organized dance, when I was your age all the boys would be on one side of the room and the girls on the other. Of course the girls were only interested in older guys. At least at a chess tournament you can start a fight. :-) Regardz Colin J Davies

The good thing about picking a fight with chess geeks is that you'll usually win. Another good place is a senior citizen center, but watch out for those walkers. It hurts when they ram them into your shins. :)

Yeah walkers suck. The should have to be registered as weapons and not revealed in public. Regardz Colin J Davies

And I'm still dealing with the leftover complications (as I said to Rama, I had to turn down several people asking me to go to the dance), and hate it with a passion every step of the way. No, I'd rather absorb myself in a world of thought and purpose, of knowledge, and therefore power. While they're losing their virginity and partying all night long, I'll be coding C#, getting a high-paying tech job, and learning the newest technologies. I prefer to read, to code, to learn, and to think. That is truly living, much more than anything I could ever achieve as part of their society. It's the dark side for me. I have gone down the dark path, and forever will it dominate my destiny.

Hmm, I cant say I agree with you on that at all - what you have described as the pathetic hormone-driven society is what life at your age is about. If you miss out on that, you miss out on a lot of vital experience in all sorts of ways. You have plenty of time in later life to become a boring sod and achieve your exponential rate of learning. ____________________ David Wulff hu·mour Pronunciation Key (hymr) n. & v. ... you skip your 8th grade graduation dance to go work at the chess tournament.

It could be a lot worse... you could have skipped it to watch the World Cup. Last Friday, 90% of the British working population phones in sick. ____________________ David Wulff hu·mour Pronunciation Key (hymr) n. & v. Fair enough that is your choice. Just somewhere along the line you should let your hormones have a little control.
