Has MS fixed the disk as a folder delete problem?
-
I am wondering if Microsoft has fixed the problem as described below in Vista: Say you have a computer with two HDs in it and you want to put a folder on the C: drive that is linked to another HD (You can do this from the disk management utility). So you decide to put your "Documents and Settings" ("users" in Vista) folder onto the second drive by moving the folder to the second HD and linking that folder to the second HD. As time progresses you put files and folders into your "My Documents" folder. Then for what ever reason, you decide that a folder or two needs to be deleted from your "My Documents" folder. In previous versions of windows, one could not delete these folders through the explorer, but could delete them from the command line. Phil
