Thats not the same. Its the act of creating a new human and the processes that take place from after fertilization to birth. The thought of knowing that you helped create a new human by fusing your DNA with your girlfriend's/wife's DNA in an act that feels so good.

Why do you think the size of the homosexual population is nearly always constant in the first place? It's built into the species. In any population it is advantageous to have producers who do not have offspring. It confers greater benefit to the group, particularly in times of fewer resources. Granted that's less applicable in human cultures nowadays, but it's very evident in nearly all mammal species.
