This website is lacking in several areas. Fixing these problems will make this website more accessible for ALL people. - the font is too small for people with eye problems to read. it must be increased to at least 48 point. - offensive posts should be removed. Posts should be moderated and any negative content especially towards minorities such as Muslim people should be removed and the posters banned - there is not enough racial diversity, there are too many white and indian people compared to the number of people of African or Asian descent. Users should be randomly banned to enforce equality so this is not a racist website. Thank you for your attention. I expect these to be implemented ASAP.

No, it shouldn't be. If the "visually impaired" aren't smart enough to do CTRL + mouse wheel, they don't deserve to be here in the first place.

No, offensive posts shouldn't be removed. No one censors everyday life, and the crappy stuff that comes with it. We are adults, so deal with it. Why is negative content towards minorities any different to that of the majority? Offensive material shouldn't be removed, like I said, we are adults. Deal with it. People get offended way too easisly, and it's due to the excessive use of political correctness. Again, deal with you, don't be such a god damned baby.

Only point I agree with you on, and it's only a very small portion. Any user from India who posts a "PLZ HELP URGENT!&$," cross-posts, or asks the same question 3 times in a forum in a 15 minute timespan without trying to use existing replies should be banned. I have no disrespect for Indians, and I realize there are quite a few here who are valueable to the community and much better programmers than me. But, the huge majority are absolutely worthless.

That is the most idiotic statement of the week, hands down. Absolutely stupid.

Yeah, you bet. My pleasure to read that garbage. You expect those to be implemented ASAP, huh? Please, please, please hold your breath on this one

Read the rules: "Do not post anything illegal, offensive, abusive" Just because this is the soap box does not give you free reign to post comments of that kind. Keep it up and your account will be removed. I've no tolerance for that kind of stuff on this site.

I'm not targeting you specifically I'm telling you what our policy is. However, I can't be everywhere all the time so if someone is being abusive then let me know. You can have your fights if they are civil, but don't cross the line.

I work as a programmer full time and believe me, there are times I’d rather be working in a waffle house. On a more serious note however, I learnt most of my programming skills long before I ever got into the industry. Going to university and the like was more about getting the piece of paper to get me through the door and not really so much about learning to program. I don’t really like to come to the Captain’s defense (I’ve had many arguments with him myself), but your implication that just because someone works in a waffle house means he can’t be a good programmer has little basis in reality; Einstein worked in a patent office but this didn’t mean he wasn’t a good theoretical physicist.

It's akin to "burger flipping". If he's so good at programming, then why is he still flipping waffles? Waffles have better personality than CSS...

I think you missed my point. I know what a "waffle house" is. As I “said” before however (but in different words), “burger flipping” and being good at programming are not mutually exclusive. This attitude is a conceit. Not that I’m saying he’s a good programmer, I don’t know as I’ve never examined his code.

I agree. The point I was trying to make is: if he's so skilled, then why is he still flipping? I don't think he'll ever land a job because of two reasons: 1) He's socially inept 2) He's not half as good as he thinks he is (let alone what he says he is) In my opinion, people with such social qualities, and who boast themselves as if they were the best thing since high level languages, isn't going to be hired anytime soon. If someone came here looking for a job, showing such traits, I'd kick his ass out the door (without opening it first). :)

I have. Hence my reaction to his boasting. :)
